How many mesenchymal tumors are benign?

Mesenchymal tumors are rarely benign, most mesenchymal tumors are malignant tumors with potential malignancy, but mesenchymal tumors metastasize less and surgical treatment is effective. Mesenchymal tumors are mostly seen in gastrointestinal tract, mainly originated from mesenchymal cells of gastrointestinal tract, most of them are potentially malignant tumors with few benign, but mesenchymal tumors are mainly expansive growth and metastasis are less, so mesenchymal tumors are better treated by surgery, and the prognosis is much better compared with gastric cancer. Mesenchymal tumors can be categorized as low, moderate and highly malignant. Low malignancy may have benign manifestations, while highly malignant may have metastasis. Even if the mesenchymal tumor grows to a large size, it can be completely removed by surgery. Therefore, if mesenchymal tumor is detected, it should be treated as early as possible with clear staging and regular checkups.
