What is a normal post-transplant blood draw value

After the embryo transfer, you need to check the blood HCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) to determine the pregnancy, different gestational weeks correspond to different values, and you need to judge whether it is normal or not according to the specific time of pregnancy.
Generally, one week after the transfer of the embryo, the embryo is successfully implanted and begins to secrete HCG, which gradually increases. At four weeks of pregnancy, HCG should be between 50-500miu/ml, and by five weeks of pregnancy, it is around 100-5000miu/ml. In short, within 40 days of pregnancy, the blood HCG value doubles every two days.
If the blood HCG is doubling, it means that the embryo is developing well. If the HCG is not doubling or shows a gradual decline, it means that the transfer has failed or miscarriage is possible.
However, each hospital or testing organization uses a different unit of measurement and the values may vary. Therefore, it is recommended that the test be conducted in the same hospital so that the measured values are more accurate.
