Vinegar Soaked Ginger is also known as Returning Soul Soup, although it is from “The Essentials of the Golden Chamber”. Ginger warms and stops vomiting, warms the lungs and stops coughing; vinegar disperses stasis and eliminates accumulation, stops bleeding, settles roundworms and detoxifies. The efficacy of eating vinegar soaked ginger has nothing to do with gender.
Vinegar soaked ginger, that is, return the soul soup, for the name of Chinese medicine prescription, from the “Golden Chamber Essentials” volume, the main treatment of stroke death, disobedience to death, etc.. The formula currently has no scientific basis, and therefore cannot prove its benefits for women.
Vinegar, when analyzed as a Chinese medicine, generally has the efficacy of dispersing blood stasis and eliminating stagnation, stopping bleeding, settling roundworms, and detoxifying toxins. It can be used in treating postpartum hematemesis, obstruction in the abdomen (the appearance of tangible or intangible lumps in the abdomen, with a feeling of distension and pain), vomiting blood, epistaxis, and blood in the stools, among other conditions. It is worth noting that it should be used with caution in cases of heavy dampness in the spleen and stomach, impotence and paralysis, and contracture of tendons and veins (persistent tension and stiffness of the muscles).
Ginger can also be used as a traditional Chinese medicine. It can warm the lungs to stop coughing, warm the stomach to stop vomiting (treating vomiting caused by stomach cold by warming the spleen and stomach), detoxify the epidermis to disperse cold (removing the cold from the surface of the muscles), and detoxify the toxin, etc. It can be used in treating coughing of the lungs with coldness, vomiting of the stomach with coldness, and wind-cold colds.
It is recommended to consume ginger in vinegar under the guidance of a doctor and seek medical advice if you feel unwell.
