What are the dietary treatments for pediatric colds?

  When children have a cold, they often have symptoms such as stuffy and runny nose, sneezing and coughing, throat discomfort or pain, and parents are very anxious. The following are some common family dietary treatments.
  1. Wind-cold cold.
  The manifestation is mild fever, severe chill, no sweat, stuffy nose and runny nose, sneezing and coughing, may complain of pain in the limbs, headache. Tongue coating thin white, pulse floating tight.

  Treatment to clear heat and relieve symptoms.
  (1) 5 grams each of mulberry leaf and chrysanthemum, 3 grams of peppermint, steeped in boiling water, add appropriate amount of sugar to drink as tea.
  (2) reed root tea: 100 grams of reed root, 200 grams of fresh radish, 7 white onions, 7 green olives, treatment of fever and sore throat, cough and phlegm, thirst and dry tongue
  (3) big green leaf tea: big green leaf 15 grams. Seasonal colds, fever and sore throat, etc.
  (4) Rice with rehmannia: 200 grams of fresh rehmannia, 500 grams of round-grained rice. Stomach heat, lung heat disease evidence and thirst for fluid injury.
  3.Summer cold: to dispel summer heat and relieve symptoms
  (1) half a fresh lotus leaf, chopped decoction, after cooling, add an appropriate amount of fresh watermelon juice to the water and substitute tea.
  (2) lotus leaf winter melon soup: a fresh lotus leaf, fresh winter melon 500 grams, the appropriate amount of salt.
  4, cough phlegm
