Do exemestane tablets have an effect on weight?

Exemestane tablets generally have no significant effect on body weight.
Exemestane Tablets is a steroidal aromatase inhibitor for postmenopausal women with early invasive breast cancer who test positive for estrogen receptors after 2 to 3 years of adjuvant therapy with tamoxifen until completion of a total of 5 years of adjuvant endocrine therapy, and for naturally or artificially postmenopausal women with advanced breast cancer who continue to have progression of the disease after tamoxifen therapy.
Drug contraindications include hypersensitivity to the product, premenopausal and pregnant or lactating women. The most frequent adverse reactions include anorexia, depression, insomnia, headache, dizziness, hot flashes, abdominal pain, nausea, elevated liver enzymes, increased sweating, pain, and fatigue. Given that the effect on body weight is not mentioned in the drug insert, the drug is generally considered to have little effect on body weight.
Specific use of the drug should be carried out under the supervision of a specialist.
