The pain of cancer bone metastasis is mainly manifested as the pain of the metastasis site, such as the pain of the long bones of the limbs for metastasis of the long bones of the limbs, the pain of the back for metastasis of the spine, and in severe cases, paraplegia, urinary and fecal incontinence, or even numbness of both lower limbs, headache for metastasis of the skull, and pain of the ribs for metastasis of the ribs. In short, the metastasis of cancer cells to which part of the bone will lead to which part of the pain, then if CT or MRI is done, local filling, defect or bone destruction can be found, and PET-CT can find increased metabolism. To confirm the diagnosis of bone metastasis, local puncture biopsy can be performed, but in clinical practice, bone metastasis can be clearly identified with the history of primary cancer and CT or MRI of filling and defect.
