The meridian under the tongue is attributed to the Foot Taiyin Spleen Meridian, which can be used for the treatment of spleen and stomach disorders, gynecological disorders, and anterior yin disorders. The circulation of the Foot Taiyin Spleen meridian passes under the tongue, with a total of 42 points on the left and right sides. Apart from that, it can also treat other diseases in the areas where the meridians circulate, such as pain in the chest and hypochondrium (a collective term for the chest and ribcage areas), and impotence and paralysis of the lower limbs (weakness, numbness and pain in the lower limbs).
