Baby swimming how often appropriate

Infant swimming can be done about 2 times a week, preferably 1 hour after feeding, and the duration of each swim is limited to 10-15 minutes. Infant swimming refers to a phased, specific water health activity for children under 1 year of age, operated and supervised by specially trained personnel under special safety protection measures. Because infants need a process of neurological and limb development, swimming is a whole-body exercise that can promote the development of temperature, visual and auditory senses, as well as the coordination of the nervous system and limbs, and can also promote active exercise, thereby strengthening the infant’s resistance. However, each infant swimming time should not be too long, the frequency should not be too strong, such as daily swimming, because too much swimming may cause the infant skin surface lipid loss, and therefore may have adverse effects on health. If improper care, there may also be cold and flu. After each swim, parents need to observe the infant’s mental state, stool, if there is no abnormality can continue to swim, if there is an abnormality, need to go to the hospital pediatrician in a timely manner.
