Is the nucleic acid positive in patients with the latent phase of the novel coronavirus?

Patients should test positive for nucleic acid during the incubation period after infection with novel coronavirus, and the principle for patients in the incubation period is isolation and monitoring of temperature and illness. As soon as symptoms appear, the patient should be sent to a designated hospital for isolation, treatment and testing of the nucleic acid test. If it is positive, it can be designated as a confirmed case. However, if the incubation period does not last, the patient can be released after 14 days of isolation if the nucleic acid test is negative. If the incubation period of 14 days has passed and the patient is still asymptomatic, but the nucleic acid test is positive, this group of patients cannot be released from isolation until they are asymptomatic and the nucleic acid test is negative, thus preventing the spread of the virus to more patients.
