Balloon removal 7 days after uterine adhesion surgery is usually painless.
The main purpose of balloon placement for uterine adhesions is to prevent re-adhesion of the uterine lining. In patients with uterine adhesions, after separating the adherent parts, a balloon is placed and saline of the same size as the uterine cavity is injected into the uterine cavity to open up the balloon, which effectively prevents the endometrium from re-adhering to the uterus. When removing the balloon, the injected saline is simply withdrawn and the patient usually feels no discomfort or pain.
For patients with uterine adhesions, in addition to the balloon placement method, an intrauterine device (IUD) can be placed under the direction of the doctor, or oral estrogen can be taken to promote endometrial hyperplasia. Whichever method is chosen, it needs to be done under the guidance of a doctor.
