Children who fall to loose teeth can recover in a few days

Loose teeth in children who fall on their teeth usually recover after 1-3 months, but the exact length of time depends on the severity and cannot be generalized. If a tooth is accidentally dropped, the tooth may become contused, the periodontal membrane is shocked, and the tooth may become elongated and loose, with biting pain and knocking pain. If the contusion is minor, it can be left untreated and usually recovers in 2-4 weeks. If the periodontal membrane is more severely damaged, the loose tooth can be fixed with a ligature and can return to normal after 1-2 months. If the tooth is dislocated, it needs to be reset and ligated and fixed, and the arch splint can be removed after 1-3 months of root stabilization, and the specific recovery time varies from person to person. After a child falls on a tooth, parents are advised to take him/her to the dentistry department of a regular hospital for examination and timely treatment after clarifying the cause. Avoid using the affected tooth to bite objects in daily life and try to avoid re-collision.
