Clinically, there is no such thing as three major manifestations of meningitis, and there are more than three manifestations of meningitis. Common manifestations include fever, headache, facial paralysis, mental abnormality and so on. 1. Fever: There are many causes of meningitis, patients usually have fever, some patients may have low fever, such as tuberculous meningitis, some patients may have high fever, such as purulent meningitis. 2. Headache: Headache is a typical symptom of meningitis, accompanied by edema and exudation of the meninges and brain tissues, increased intracranial pressure, irritation and pulling of the meninges with pain-sensitive structures, the blood vessels at the base of the skull and the cranial nerves causing pulling headache. 3. Facial paralysis: If the patient has tuberculous meningitis, it may cause damage to the cranial nerves, such as oculomotor deficits and peripheral facial paralysis clinical manifestations. 4. Mental abnormality: mental symptoms are the manifestation of inflammatory stimulation of brain parenchyma, and patients often have hallucinations and irritability.
