It is not normal for women to have unclean dew for 42 days after delivery. Normally, the dew should stop about half a month after delivery. If it is still unclean 42 days after delivery, it may be caused by a foreign body in the uterine cavity or poor contraction of the uterus, in which case you need to go to the hospital for a gynecological ultrasound and determination of the human chorionic gonadotropin level. If the chorionic gonadotropin level is normal and the gynecologic ultrasound shows an enlarged uterus with no foreign body in the uterine cavity, motherwort pellets can be given orally to promote uterine contraction. If a woman’s human chorionic gonadotropin level is elevated, it is also important to look for the presence of trophoblastic disease, which requires timely symptomatic treatment and may require uterine evacuation or chemotherapy to avoid affecting the woman’s health.
