Hyperlipidemia cannot be cured. Clinically, the sources of blood lipids are divided into two categories, 1. endogenous lipids; 2. exogenous lipids. The lipids taken in through diet every day are called exogenous lipids, which only account for 1/3 of the total lipids in human body, and this hyperlipidemia can be lowered through dietary control. The remaining 2/3 of lipids are called endogenous lipids, which are mainly synthesized by the liver itself, and here the increased lipids cannot be regulated through dietary control. Therefore, patients with hyperlipidemia should be treated with a multi-pronged approach and perseverance. In addition to reasonable dietary guidance and control, moderate exercise should be performed. Regular medication should be administered under the guidance of a doctor. Only with a multi-pronged approach and consistent treatment can the condition of hyperlipidemia patients be effectively controlled.
