For the right knee meniscus injury, it can generally be well with active treatment. Meniscal injuries can be classified as Grade I, Grade II and Grade III on MRI. Grade I and Grade II injuries can be characterized as partial meniscal damage on MRI, often due to degeneration of the meniscus, and generally only show mild pain in the joint without symptoms of interlocking and popping, and can be treated conservatively. If the meniscus is torn, an early diagnosis can be made by performing an early MRI and an active physical examination. If early arthroscopic surgery is performed, the meniscus can be completely healed. Meniscus tears can be healed in most cases by suturing the meniscus. If the meniscus is torn more severely, partial or complete removal of the meniscus is often required and can make the symptoms disappear.
