What causes babies to regress in speech

Baby’s language regression may be caused by the language environment, or it may be caused by the lack of oral muscle strength, or autism, etc.
1. Language environment: If the baby’s language environment is poor during development, the family crowd uses more types of dialects, etc., or the parents lack patience with the baby, too much scolding, etc., it may lead to the phenomenon of baby’s language regression.
2. Insufficient oral muscle strength: If the baby is not fed properly during development, lack of exercise of oral muscle strength will lead to insufficient oral muscle strength, which in turn will show regression of language.
3. Autism: If the baby has regression of speech, we should also be alert to the occurrence of autism. Autistic children will have a decrease in speech and regression in language ability.
It is recommended to provide appropriate encouragement to the baby, adopt effective feeding methods, and seek medical treatment if necessary.
