How to get rid of age spots on the back of your hands

Age spots, also called seborrheic keratosis, generally do not require treatment. If they affect the aesthetics or are accompanied by itching and other symptoms, they can be removed by medication, cryotherapy, laser treatment and surgical excision.
1. Medication: Hydrogen peroxide solution, liquid-zinc nitrate compound solution and other medications can be applied to the area with age spots to remove the lesions.
2. Freezing treatment: Liquid nitrogen is applied to the skin lesions to kill the cells by freezing, which may require 2~3 times of treatment.
3. Laser treatment: local anesthetic is injected or applied to the lesions, and then carbon dioxide laser or Q laser is used to remove the lesions.
4. Surgical excision: for large size and needing clear diagnosis, it is best to surgically excise the skin lesions, such as chipping, scraping and so on.
It is suggested that patients who want to remove age spots should go to regular hospitals for consultation and treatment under the guidance of doctors, rather than treating them on their own.
