Is pathology required for uterine fibroids?

Pathology is needed after surgery for fibroids. Regardless of the type of surgery performed, postoperative specimens must be pathologized because some surgeries see fibroids intraoperatively and the naked eye sees no special conditions. Postoperative pathology is usually done 7 days or at least 3 working days after surgery to get the pathology results, and most fibroids are benign. However, there are some patients, for example, no abnormalities are found on the operating table and no icing is sent, because the cost of sending icing will increase. If no problem is seen by the naked eye, no icing is sent intraoperatively, and if no icing is sent, the patient is rediagnosed with a problem, malignant or potentially malignant junction.
