Ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome is a clinical complication that occurs during ovulation induction treatment with assisted reproduction techniques. Ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome mainly manifests itself in the following ways: 1) Obvious enlargement of both ovaries through ultrasound examination; 2) Lower abdominal pain and abdominal distension; 3) Severe nausea, vomiting, thirst, and diarrhea may also occur. Therefore, once the above symptoms appear, go to the hospital to give appropriate treatment, and it is recommended that you can be admitted to the hospital for observation. For mild ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome, as long as appropriate rest, encourage the patient to drink more water, about a week or so will return to normal, for serious need to be hospitalized to give appropriate treatment.
