What to do if your ear piercing is swollen

Swollen ear piercing requires the following treatment: 1. Due to the rich capillaries in the ears, coupled with incomplete disinfection when piercing, the ear piercing becomes red and swollen, so use iodophor to rub the red and swollen area 2-3 times/day. If it is still not effective, it is recommended to go to the hospital for intravenous input of anti-inflammatory drugs. 2. If there is no discomfort in the ear piercing before, but the redness and swelling accompanied by itchy symptoms appear after the ear pin is replaced, it is due to the skin allergy to the ear pin, first remove the ear pin and then take oral anti-allergy drugs such as levocetirizine hydrochloride and dexloratadine. The redness and swelling can subside after about three days of continuous use.
