Can a polyp of the fundic glands grow back after it has been clamped?

If a fundal polyp has been removed, it may grow back again. Fundal polyp is a lump of flesh that grows inside the stomach, ranging in size from a few millimeters to a few centimeters. After the removal of a fundal polyp, if there is no change in the internal environment of the stomach, there will still be the possibility of growing fundal polyps. Gastric fundal polyps are mainly categorized into inflammatory polyps and hyperplastic polyps, which are more common in life, and inflammatory polyps are mostly produced by gastritis stimulation, which means that the inflammatory polyps are simply cut without curing the gastritis, and so the gastric fundal polyps may also grow again. After the removal of fundal polyps, you should adhere to a good diet, such as regular meals, quit smoking and drinking, eat less spicy, fried and greasy food, and eat more fresh fruits and vegetables. Secondly, do not overwork, avoid long-term tension and anxiety. More exercise is recommended to help avoid recurrence. Do not take long-term oral omeprazole and other proton pump inhibitors. After having fundic gland polyp clamping, patients are advised to go to the hospital regularly to monitor their condition and follow the doctor’s instructions.
