What is the uneven slightly hypoechoic area in the testis?

Uneven slightly hypoechoic areas in the testis may be associated with testicular cysts, testicular syringomyelia and testicular tumors.
1. Testicular cyst: a benign lesion of testis and its surrounding tissues, single or multiple round or oval hypoechoic areas with clear boundaries can be seen under ultrasound.
2. Testicular syringomyelia: it is divided into primary syringomyelia and secondary syringomyelia, which is very much related to chronic inflammation of testis and its surrounding tissues and trauma or surgical injury, and a hypoechoic liquid dark area can be seen under ultrasound.
3. Testicular tumor: it can be divided into primary tumor and secondary tumor, which is very much related to genetic, drug and environmental factors. Hypoechoic area can also be seen under ultrasound, but its blood supply is richer.
Uneven slightly hypoechoic area in the testis may have other etiological factors, and should be timely medical treatment, regular treatment, in order to reduce the adverse effects of the disease.
