Three Immortals’ Soup is composed of Xian Ling Spleen, Xian Mao and Xian He Cao, which has the effect of supporting and replenishing deficiency, benefiting qi and refreshing the spirit. It can be used for treating diseases such as heart disease, spleen and stomach disease, pulmonary heart disease as well as symptoms of qi deficiency such as mental fatigue (mental exhaustion, physical weakness) and poor spirit.
1. Xian Ling Spleen, also known as Epimedium, can tonify kidney yang, benefit essence, strengthen bones and muscles, dispel wind-dampness, and strengthen the heart. It is now believed that it can also benefit the qi and tranquilize the mind, and can be used to treat the deficiency of the liver and kidney caused by prolonged illnesses, or congenital deficiency of the kidney qi.
2. Xianmao can tonify kidney yang, strengthen muscles and bones, dispel cold and dampness, benefit essence and stop bleeding, and can be used to treat impotence of kidney deficiency, spleen deficiency and dullness (no appetite, reduced food intake), and fatigue.
3. Xianhe Cao can stop bleeding by astringency (using drugs with astringent effect to treat bleeding disorders) and tonify the deficiency, which is used to treat dislocation of strength and labor injuries. The combination of the three medicines can achieve the effect of supporting correctness and tonifying deficiency, benefiting qi and tranquilizing the spirit, and can be used to treat heart disease, spleen and stomach disease, pulmonary heart disease and other diseases and symptoms of qi deficiency such as fatigue and poor mental health.
