There are many ways to check the condition of the endometrium, and the most common ones are as follows: Firstly, ultrasound can be performed to see whether the thickness of the endometrium is irregular or not, whether there is separation or not, and whether there is a growth of fatty organisms and so on. If there are symptoms or abnormalities in the ultrasound, diagnostic scraping of the endometrium can be performed. Secondly, the more popular and advanced examination method is hysteroscopy, with hysteroscopy, in common parlance, is to use a very small micro-camera into the uterine cavity, to be able to see the shape of the entire uterine cavity and endometrium, and diagnostic scraping can be carried out under the examination of hysteroscopy. The isolated tissue from the scraping is sent for pathologic examination to determine the condition of the uterine lining and whether there are any lesions.
