What is the difference between heat rash and eczema?

Heat rash is generally referred to as prickly heat. The causes and symptoms of prickly heat and eczema are different.
1. Prickly heat: Prickly heat is a superficial, inflammatory skin disease commonly seen in summer or hot environments, and is mainly caused by obstruction of sweat ducts. It is mainly characterized by densely distributed pimples and papules on the trunk and intertriginous areas, which may be accompanied by tingling or itching symptoms.
2. Eczema: the etiology of eczema is not clear, may be related to genetic, endocrine and metabolic changes, chronic infections, diet, inhalation of allergens and other factors. Eczema is characterized by erythema, papules, blisters, vesicles, erythema and other polymorphic skin lesions, usually symmetrically distributed, accompanied by significant itching, and the onset of the disease is not obvious seasonality.
When prickly heat or eczema is diagnosed, patients should actively cooperate with doctors to take treatment measures.
