Dapoxetine hydrochloride is used for the treatment of poor ejaculatory control and premature ejaculation in male patients aged 18 to 64 years. The mechanism of action of the drug may be related to the inhibition of 5-hydroxytryptamine reabsorption, the overall effect of which is to prolong the duration of ejaculation, thus achieving therapeutic goals.
