Female infertility is a common and difficult disease in gynecology, and it is related to the happiness of families and social stability. Chinese medicine has long accumulated rich clinical experience in the diagnosis and treatment of infertility. In the Suwen Bone and Air Theory, it is pointed out that the mechanism of infertility is “the infertility of a woman with a disease in the Governor’s Vessel”. In the Song Dynasty, “Jisheng Fang – Theory of Childlessness”, it is clearly recognized that irregular menstruation is the main factor of infertility in women. Modern medical practitioners have further realized through clinical and experimental research that infertility is related to kidney deficiency, liver depression, phlegm-dampness and blood stasis. The author believes that the treatment of infertility should be based on the liver, spleen and kidney, and should be a comprehensive treatment, taking into account the experience of her teachers and her personal clinical experience. The liver is closely related to reproduction. It is mainly manifested in two aspects: (1) liver blood and reproduction. As the ancients say, a woman is born with liver and blood. The liver is the organ that collects blood, and the rushing is the sea of blood, and is subordinate to the liver, so the liver blood is abundant, then the Tai Chong vein is full, injecting the uterus, and the menstruation is regular, so that there can be a child; on the contrary, if the liver fire is vigorous, burnt liver body, or long term disease causes liver yin deficiency, the liver blood is not full, can appear in the “Gynecological Jade ruler – Volume 2”: “If the blood is not full, the rushing is deficient, then the menstruation is delayed, how can conception? ” (2) Emotion and fertility. The liver is the master of the discharge of emotions, and is the pivot of qi and blood regulation. The liver draining function is normal, the woman’s mood is relaxed, liver qi, qi flow, blood fluency, the stroke can be stored overflow, pregnancy is normal; if the woman is angry, emotional depression, over time can lead to liver draining, qi is not smooth, and qi is the handsome blood, so it can be seen that the qi and blood is not harmonious, the stroke can not be funded and difficult to conceive. In terms of treatment, according to the Six Books of the River, “all cases of Tianjiu are treated with sympathetic Yin”. Therefore, the clinical treatment of infertility should start from the sympathetic yin. Specific treatment includes: (1) Nourishing Blood, invigorating Blood, softening Liver. Therefore, the clinical treatment of infertility should pay attention to psychological guidance, so that patients can avoid excessive psychological tension, maintain a relaxed mood, and face life and work with an optimistic state of mind to help conception. The spleen and stomach are located in the middle jiao and belong to the five elements of earth. They are the pivot for the rise and fall of qi and the source of biochemistry of qi and blood, nourishing the organs internally and moistening the skin externally. The blood produced by the spleen and stomach directly provides the material basis for menstruation and conception. Therefore, the normal function of the spleen and stomach, the food and water can be transported, biochemical sources of Qi and blood, menstrual water is sufficient, in order to normal conception. If the woman’s spleen and stomach are deficient, the stomach does not receive, the spleen does not transport and transform, the Qi and blood are insufficient, the source is dried up, and the menstrual flow is not nourished, resulting in infertility. If the spleen and stomach are weak due to inappropriate diet or liver depression, they are unable to transport water and fluids, and water and dampness are stagnant as drinks, and the fluid condenses into phlegm, which can block the channels and flow into the lower jiao, resulting in dysregulation of the flushing and the pulses, and irregularities in the menstrual cycle, and thus infertility. That is, “Fu Qingzheng Women’s Medicine – Seeds” cloud: “Women who have obese bodies, phlegm is very much, can not conceive …… is also within the spleen and earth disease …… the spleen is wet earth, and because of phlegm, more and more wet, the spleen can not receive, will infiltrate the The twins, accumulate over time, cover the uterus, can not be fertilized.” [4] In the treatment of infertility, we should pay attention to the method of regulating the spleen and stomach according to the principle of “if there is deficiency, we should tonify it, and if there is actuality, we should drain it”. (1) Strengthening the spleen, benefiting Qi and nourishing Blood. Treatment from the kidney The kidney is the root of the innate nature, the root of the vital energy, the main reservoir of essence, the source of the transformation of the heavenly sap. The strength or weakness of the essence in the kidney dominates the growth, development and reproduction of the human body. As “Suwen – Shanggu Tianzhen” said: “When a woman is seven years old, her kidney energy is strong, and her teeth grow longer. Since the kidney is the master of human reproduction, the author believes that the method of tonifying the kidney is the fundamental method of treating infertility. Specifically, it includes: (1) tonifying the kidney and filling the essence. In “Introduction to Medicine – Seeking Heirs”, it is said that “male sperm and female blood are both qi, blood, yin and yang, and always belong to the kidneys and the Gate of Life. The sperm and blood is abundant, there are no miscellaneous diseases, it is appropriate to rendezvous at the right time, to become a fetus and pregnancy.” Combined with clinical diagnosis, the author believes that ovulatory dysfunction, luteal insufficiency, uterine dysplasia, immune infertility and other ovarian dysfunctions can all be seen in this type of infertility, and the treatment should be to tonify the kidney and fill the essence. Commonly used drugs include Fructus Lycii, Cuscuta, Salvia, Zizyphus, Amethyst, Deer Antler Gum, Radix Rehmanniae, etc. Warm the kidneys and warm the uterus.
