This case underwent bilateral hip arthroplasty. The patient was a female, 34 years old, who had suffered from “systemic lupus erythematosus, chronic renal failure (end stage), severe hypertension and severe anemia” for 5 years and had been treated with peritoneal dialysis. After the diagnosis of “bilateral femoral head necrosis” three years ago, he has been unable to walk normally. The young patient was suffering from great pain. Due to the difficulty and high risk of bilateral hip replacement surgery, and the patient’s serious underlying medical diseases, the surgery and perioperative treatment were much more difficult. For this reason, according to the patient’s specific situation, a medical and nursing team was specially established for the patient, and a multidisciplinary cooperative consultation of nephrology and anesthesiology was organized before surgery. After a rigorous and feasible treatment plan was planned before surgery, simultaneous bilateral artificial hip replacement surgery was performed for the patient, and the procedure for both joint replacements took just over 3 hours with little bleeding. On the second day after the surgery, the patient started to walk on the ground under the guidance of the nursing team, and the successful surgery was well received by the patient and his family.
