Numbness of throat may be laryngeal cancer, pharyngitis, tonsillitis and other diseases, which cannot be judged simply according to the numbness of throat, and laryngoscopy is needed to make a clear diagnosis. 1. It is laryngeal cancer: stimulation by tobacco and alcohol, viral infection, heredity and so on, lead to abnormal proliferation of laryngeal cells and formation of tumor, which will cause hoarseness, coughing, foreign body sensation and pain in the throat, resulting in numbness of throat, so numbness of throat may be laryngeal cancer. 2. Not laryngeal cancer: Inflammation of mucous membrane of throat, such as pharyngolaryngitis, upper respiratory tract infection, such as cold and flu, cervical spondylosis, dyspepsia, irritating food, etc. may cause numbness of throat, which may not necessarily be laryngeal cancer. It is not necessarily laryngeal cancer. It is recommended to go to the hospital for examination, to clarify the cause of the disease, and to treat it positively, so as to avoid affecting the normal life.
