What is Tinnitus?

Tinnitus is divided into two categories: subjective tinnitus and objective tinnitus. Objective tinnitus is tinnitus that can be heard by others in close proximity or has a clear vascular component (arteriovenous problems in and around the ear). Subjective tinnitus is a ringing in the ear or head that can be felt only by the patient in varying degrees (called tinnitus or head or skull ringing, respectively). Despite the complexity and variety of causes, we still need to understand tinnitus correctly. Professor Lai from Taiwan believes that tinnitus is a wound of the body crying out pain again, which is protecting the organism and reminding it to find the cause of tinnitus as much as possible, individualize intervention, and adapt to each other with tinnitus as a companion.
