What is an abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA)?

Abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) is a common arterial dilatation disease, accounting for the first incidence of all aneurysms. Characterized by limited, permanent dilatation of the abdominal aortic wall, once the aneurysm ruptures, it is often impossible to resuscitate in time and life-threatening, with a mortality rate of 70%-90% in case of rupture. Main manifestations: 1. pulsating abdominal mass; 2. pain, sudden severe abdominal pain is the aura of abdominal aortic aneurysm rupture and should be alerted; 3. compression symptoms; 4. embolic symptoms, producing limb ischemia or even necrosis; 5. rupture symptoms: sudden severe abdominal pain, hemorrhagic shock, presence of pulsating mass in the abdomen. Treatment 1.Surgical treatment with abdominal aortic aneurysm resection + artificial vessel grafting; 2.Intracavitary isolation of aneurysm, a minimally invasive surgical technique, is especially suitable for high level patients who cannot tolerate surgery.
