A high ApoE on serologic examination indicates elevated lipids and the patient may have hyperlipidemia. ApoE is found in celiac disease, medium density lipoprotein (MLDP) and very low density lipoprotein (VLLDL). ApoE is positively correlated with plasma triglyceride content, and elevated ApoE indicates elevated lipids in the body, which can increase the incidence of coronary artery disease, diabetes mellitus, atherosclerosis, pancreatitis and other diseases, which can have a serious impact on life and health. The normal concentration of ApoE is 0.03~0.05g/L, which is closely related to the lifestyle and dietary habits, disease conditions, patients like to eat high-fat food, lack of physical activity, ApoE will be elevated. If patients find that the serum ApoE is high, they should consult a doctor in time to complete the relevant examinations and follow the doctor’s instructions for treatment. In addition, dietary structure should be adjusted to reduce the fat content in the diet, increase physical exercise, reduce body weight, and quit smoking and drinking.
