What to look for in endometrial cancer immunohistochemistry

Endometrial cancer is a common malignant tumor in gynecology, which needs to be combined with immunohistochemical indexes to further judge the malignant degree of the tumor and the treatment plan, and the immunohistochemical indexes that need to be observed include ki-67, ER (Estrogen Receptor), P53, C-erb2 and so on.
1. ki-67: the expression of the corresponding indexes mainly occurs in the cell proliferation stage, the higher the proportion of ki-67, the faster the cell proliferation, the higher the degree of malignancy, and the poorer the prognosis.
2.ER (estrogen receptor): positive expression of the corresponding index suggests that it is more sensitive to endocrine therapy.
3. P53: it belongs to a kind of oncogene, which is negative under normal conditions, and the positive expression suggests gene mutation and poor prognosis. In addition, this index can be used to identify plasma cancer and endometrioid cancer.
4. C-erb2: positive expression of the corresponding index suggests that recurrence and metastasis are likely to occur, but accordingly, targeted drugs can be applied to control it.
After the occurrence of endometrial cancer, combined with immunohistochemical indexes, comprehensive judgment of tumor status should be made, and after determining the specific conditions, it is recommended to carry out standardized treatment under the guidance of clinicians, so as to avoid delaying the condition by not being negligent.
