Is a cerebral aneurysm a major disease?

Cerebral aneurysm, generally referred to as intracranial aneurysm, is a major disease.
Intracranial aneurysm is a type of verrucous protrusion of the arterial wall caused by a limited and abnormal enlargement of the inner lumen of the artery, which occurs on the basis of localized congenital defects of the cerebral arterial wall and increased intraluminal pressure, and it is the first cause of subarachnoid hemorrhage.
The common causes of intracranial aneurysm include congenital factors, atherosclerosis, infection, trauma and so on. Its clinical manifestations mainly include severe headache, vomiting, visual acuity and visual field disorders.
If intracranial aneurysm ruptures, it will cause intracranial hemorrhage, leading to coma or even brain hernia, once brain hernia is formed, the patient’s life can be in danger at any time, so it is a major disease.
Patients should avoid heavy physical labor and emotional excitement in daily life, and actively control blood pressure to avoid rupture of aneurysm. At the same time, pay attention to light diet, avoid eating spicy and stimulating food, quit smoking and drinking, and ensure sufficient sleep.
