Chuanbei Mu has the effects of moistening the lung and relieving cough, clearing heat and resolving phlegm, dispersing knots and subduing swelling. It is generally used for the treatment of lung-heat and dry cough, deficiency cough, scrofula (mainly refers to cervical lymph node tuberculosis), carbuncle, etc. It is also used for the treatment of lung-heat and dry cough.
It belongs to the heart meridian and lung meridian, and is bitter, sweet and slightly cold in nature.
