In the second stage of kidney disease, the clinical manifestations are generally not serious. If there is no obvious oliguria, anuria, and general discomfort such as anorexia, poor appetite, nausea, vomiting, and weakness, some patients visit the clinic because of lower limb edema or foamy urine, and renal function indicates that the glomerular filtration rate is between 60-89mL/min. At this stage, active protein-lowering and symptomatic supportive treatment is needed, and if necessary, renal preservation therapy, such as ACEI or ARB antihypertensive drugs to lower urinary protein, is required. Kidney preservation and creatinine lowering treatment mainly includes oral administration of Jin Shui Bao, medicinal charcoal, Haikun Kidney Xi capsule, urinary toxicity clearing granules and other drugs. Because if this stage is not actively treated, the disease will progress rapidly and reach stage 4-5 of chronic kidney disease, which will result in obvious general discomfort and other symptoms. The purpose of treatment in this stage is to delay the progression of the disease, preserve the residual kidney function and improve the prognosis of patients.
