Can Chinese medicine cure hypertension?

Chinese medicine is not a cure for hypertension. Hypertension is a chronic disease that requires long-term use of antihypertensive drugs, except in the very rare cases of secondary hypertension. Secondary hypertension can be cured, but most secondary hypertension, if cured at all, relies on Western medicine or surgery. Chinese medicine cannot completely cure hypertension, but it can regulate blood pressure, either by taking Chinese antihypertensive drugs or by lowering blood pressure by unblocking meridians and massage. But Chinese medicine treatment of hypertension is often only applicable to mild hypertension, when hypertension disease more than two levels or need Western medicine treatment, hypertension treatment is often long-term oral antihypertensive drug therapy.
