Signs of a dying stomach cancer patient

The terminal signs of gastric cancer patients mainly focus on the respiratory system and cardiovascular system. As the patients are in an extremely debilitated state, there are expressions of indifference, unresponsiveness, drowsiness, coma, generalized swelling or wasting, cachexia, significantly accelerated respiratory rate, shallow amplitude, chest tightness, shortness of breath, and even respiratory difficulties such as open mouth breathing and jaw breathing. Some patients, because of the inability to cough up the sputum in the lungs, are often accompanied by wheezing sounds in the lungs, while the heart rate is accelerated, up to 120 beats/min, with irregular heart rhythm, amplitude suddenly large and small, and unstable blood pressure, which gradually decreases to eventually undetectable, causing shock eventually causing death. Once a patient has a respiratory and circulatory system that deviates significantly from normal and has difficulty maintaining vital signs, it is a sign that the patient’s time of death is quickly approaching.
