How long can the high level of broken water last

The time of delivery of the fetus after a high water break cannot be determined. A high water break is a premature rupture of the membranes, where the rupture of the membranes is located high above the fetal previa. Because the rupture of the membranes is small or obstructed by the fetal dew, the amount of amniotic fluid flow is usually small or insignificant. After the water breaks, the fetal dew drops and labor is usually initiated within 24 hours. However, high water breakage usually does not induce the descent of the fetal previa and does not induce contractions. Therefore, the time of delivery after a high water break is usually uncertain. In general, a full-term fetus should be delivered within 24-48 hours after a high water break. If the water breaks at a high level in a non-full-term fetus, the rupture may heal after treatment to prevent infection and suppress contractions if the amniotic fluid flow is small. During the process of fetal preservation, you should stay in hospital for observation, rest in bed, elevate the hips appropriately, reduce activities and keep emotional stability.
