The recovery time after laser myopia surgery is usually about three weeks. The laser surgery currently used for myopia, including excimer laser and femtosecond laser, is very minimally invasive, and the precision of the surgery is relatively high, so it causes minimal trauma and the recovery time is relatively much faster. Under normal circumstances, the surgery usually takes less than 10 minutes, and the vision can be restored to normal the day after the surgery, but a few patients may recover a little slower due to local corneal edema. After a week or so after surgery, the vision can basically enter a very stable state, and after three weeks, if the eye does not have any complications, such as infection, you can stop the use of local medication and resume a normal life completely.
