How to know if you have wisdom teeth

To determine if you have wisdom teeth, you can use x-rays, visual observation, and touch. Wisdom teeth are the third molar in human beings. If there are no missing teeth, you can count from the center incisors to one side, and the eighth tooth is the wisdom tooth. To determine whether there are wisdom teeth or not, you can make judgment from the following aspects. 1. The most valuable way to determine the presence or absence of wisdom teeth is to take an oral X-ray, which has the highest accuracy rate. 2. The erupted wisdom teeth can be seen with the naked eye, while the unerupted wisdom teeth cannot be seen. 3. When brushing teeth, you can use a toothbrush to feel whether there is a cusp eruption at the distal center of the last second molar; or wash your hands and use your index finger to feel whether there is a cusp eruption at this position; or you can use an oral probe to diagnose whether there is a wisdom tooth or not. If the wisdom teeth are in the right position, do not affect the bite, and have no inflammation, they do not need to be removed. If the position is not correct, it is called blocked wisdom teeth, easy to inflammation, leading to oral diseases, then you need to see a doctor as soon as possible, if necessary, should be removed.
