Is the water coming out of a pregnant woman’s underwear amniotic fluid?

Clear water coming out of a pregnant woman’s underwear is not necessarily amniotic fluid. A lot of clear water like urine may be amniotic fluid. Very little water may be cervical and vaginal secretions.

After pregnancy, estrogen and progesterone levels rise, especially in late pregnancy, cervical and vaginal secretions increase, pregnant women will experience an increase in leukorrhea, sometimes like water, not a lot of flow, usually not amniotic fluid.

If the watery stuff suddenly flows out of the vagina in a large amount, like urine, and uncontrollable, this situation may be amniotic fluid, and you need to rush to the hospital to confirm the diagnosis.

If it is amniotic fluid, you need to give active treatment under the guidance of your doctor to avoid delaying your condition.
