What happened to the sudden nosebleeds?

If the nose suddenly bleeds more than once, two conditions should be considered: 1. The more common bleeding caused by the rupture of mucosal vessels in the nasal cavity. If the amount of bleeding is not large, the bleeding side of the nasal cavity can be filled with cotton balls for compression to stop the bleeding. If the bleeding cannot be stopped, even from the other side of the nose or mouth, you should go to the hospital immediately and look for the bleeding point under the nasal endoscope. Most of the bleeding points are located at the front of the nasal septum, at the fornix of the inferior turbinate or at the side of the nasal septum in the olfactory area. If a clear bleeding point is found, the bleeding can be stopped by bipolar electrocoagulation. If no clear bleeding point can be found, nasal tamponade treatment should be given, or even nasal exploration and hemostasis treatment should be performed under general anesthesia. 2. Bleeding caused by nasal masses, such as nasal hemangioma, papilloma and other masses, nasal endoscopy and sinus CT examination should be performed, and surgical treatment can be given.
