Whether to take it before or after meals depends on the location of the lesion; if the disease is above the chest and diaphragm, take it after meals; if the disease is below the heart and abdomen, take it on an empty stomach.
1. Taking it after meal: it can treat lesions above the chest and diaphragm, the reason is that after eating, the medicinal power cannot easily reach the lower jiao, and the medicinal power can easily go upward to treat lesions above the chest and diaphragm.
2. Taken on an empty stomach: it can treat lesions below the heart and abdomen. The reason is that when the stomach is empty, there is no obstruction of food in the middle jiao, so it can reach the lower jiao directly, and the strength of the medicine can easily go downward to treat lesions below the heart and abdomen.
Whether to take it before or after meals depends on the location of the lesion, and it should be used under the guidance of a traditional Chinese medicine practitioner, not on its own, to avoid adverse consequences.
