Hemorrhoids are arguably the most common anal disease, and the main symptoms of hemorrhoids are painless blood in the stool, bright red blood in the stool, blood on the toilet paper, blood attached to the surface of the stool, and unmixed with the stool. Once hemorrhoids appear to bleed, whether or not you can have a married life depends on the severity of the bleeding symptoms. If there is intermittent blood in the stool, no jet-like blood in the stool, or even no dripping blood, but only occasional blood on the toilet paper, this condition can be cured without even treatment. It certainly does not affect the patient’s ability to lead a married life, i.e., to have a sexual life. However, if there is dripping blood, or even jet-like blood in the stool, or if the symptoms of blood in the stool persist, this may cause the patient to become anemic. This situation should be treated promptly, while avoiding conjugal life.
