You can still brush your teeth at night after scaling, and it is supposed to be done. Because most of the time of scaling is during the day, brushing should be done at night after dinner. In fact, it is recommended that we brush our teeth once a day after meals, so that we can better remove food debris and plaque in the mouth, and try to avoid long-term attachment of plaque, because long-term attachment of plaque may form tartar, and tartar cannot be solved by brushing, and once tartar is formed, it needs to be solved by scaling. Scaling is professionally called supragingival scaling, which is a method to completely remove plaque and calculus from the periodontium through ultrasonic waves. To use an analogy, we can think of scaling as taking a bath and brushing as washing your hands. We need to scaling once every six months to a year, but we recommend brushing more often, because brushing itself is relatively easy to operate, and there is no damage to the teeth, as we usually say, it is always good to wash your hands regularly, and so is brushing, so we recommend brushing at least 3 times a day, in order to have a better protection of oral hygiene. So there is no conflict between scaling and brushing.
