Hepatic ascites caused by alcohol consumption, i.e. alcoholic cirrhosis ascites, cannot be cured, but the survival rate of patients can be improved through effective treatment. Alcoholic cirrhosis, at this time, the structure of the liver lobule is completely damaged, replaced by pseudo lobe and extensive fibrosis, with portal hypertension, ascites, splenomegaly as the main manifestation, accompanied by other organs of chronic alcoholism clinical manifestations. Patients should quit drinking as early as possible, although alcohol cessation cannot reverse the pathological changes of cirrhosis, it can improve the survival rate of patients with cirrhosis; nutritional support is given to prevent the occurrence of malnutrition; at the same time, with active medication such as furosemide combined with spironolactone diuretic, abdominal puncture to drain ascites, or even surgical treatment. The diet should be low fat, high protein, high vitamin and easy to digest. Do regularly, quantitatively, in moderation. In the early stage, we can eat more soy products, fruits, fresh vegetables, appropriate sugar, eggs, fish, lean meat; when liver function is significantly reduced and there is a precursor of hepatic coma, we should control protein intake appropriately, and advocate a low-salt diet or a salt-free diet. Salt intake should not exceed 1~1.5 grams per day and water intake should be within 2000 milliliters.
