If a patient gets up in the morning with painful symptoms in the right side of the chest, it cannot be excluded that the disease is caused by trauma, such as symptoms of fracture of the ribs and sternum on the right side or contusions of the surrounding soft tissues. For cardiogenic diseases, such as coronary artery disease, unstable angina, acute myocarditis, pericarditis, and infective endocarditis, there will be painful symptoms in the right side of the chest. Diseases of the respiratory system such as pneumothorax, whether traffic pneumothorax, open pneumothorax or tension pneumothorax, will be associated with chest pain. Large lung infections, pleurisy, and pleural effusion will also have pain in the right side of the chest. For diseases of the chest wall, such as intercostal neuralgia or herpes zoster pain, there will also be pain in the right side of the chest. For women, such as mastitis in the right side of the breast will also have painful symptoms.
