Vomiting out of the nose in adults is usually considered a common reaction. It is usually caused by more intense vomiting, higher abdominal pressure, or higher cranial pressure.
If the patient is vomiting more violently, the attack is more rapid, and the amount of vomit is higher, it can cause the vomit to go directly up into the nasopharynx, the back of the nostrils, and thus come out of the nose.
If the abdominal pressure is elevated due to vomiting, the pressure in the stomach will also become high, and due to the high pressure in the process of vomiting, the vomit will be pressurized into the nasal cavity and come out of the nose.
If the intracranial pressure is high, which is common in diseases such as cerebral hemorrhage, the vomiting will be in the form of jet, which is more sudden, and also due to the pressure, the vomit will enter the nasal cavity and come out of the nose.
If there are symptoms of vomiting coming out of the nose, it is advisable to go to the hospital at the earliest possible time and get the relevant treatment with the help of a doctor.
