The most commonly used oral contraceptive pill is the combined short-acting oral contraceptive pill, which is highly effective and has a contraceptive reliability of over 99% if used correctly. Combination short-acting oral contraceptives, such as mafron and eusebio, are a combination of estrogen and progestin, which inhibit the secretion of hypothalamic gonadotropins, inhibit the growth and discharge of follicles, and thicken the cervical mucus, which is not conducive to sperm penetration or make the endometrium thinner, which is not conducive to the fertilization of eggs. The amount of hormones contained in the currently available oral short-acting contraceptives is very small, and the side effects are minimal and do not pose any health risks. In our reproductive patients, we often use oral short-acting contraceptives as well, not for contraception in these infertile patients, but for other purposes such as regulating the menstrual cycle.
